SocialWest is the flagship in the SocialNext Events portfolio, a series of six annual conferences reaching roughly 3,000 senior marketers across Canada: Toronto (April), Calgary (May), Montreal (June, bilingual), Ottawa (January), Vancouver (September), and Halifax (October).

Founder

SocialWest was founded by Mike Morrison, President and CEO of SocialNext Events Inc. Mike started the conference in 2016 to fill a gap in Canadian marketing: practical, peer driven programming for the people actually running it. Ten years later, that's still the brief.
