Terms and Conditions for all SocialWest Attendees

By participating in the SocialWest Conference scheduled for June 11th to 13th, 2025, in Calgary, Alberta, you agree to all of the following terms and conditions. Before purchasing your ticket, please review these terms and conditions and confirm that you agree.

REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS: All SocialWest ticket purchases are final sale. Tickets may be transferred to another person, but refunds will not be provided under any circumstance. By purchasing a ticket to this event, you agree to this purchase policy. Before purchasing your tickets, we urge you to confirm the title, time, and location of the event.

SOCIALWEST 2025 CODE OF CONDUCT: The SocialWest conference is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for all attendees, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, or religion. Harassment of participants in any form will not be tolerated. Attendees violating these rules may be removed from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the organizers.

SOCIALWEST 2025 PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE: SocialWest may use photographs and videos of conference events in promotional materials, on its website, and social media. By attending SocialWest sessions and events, you agree to the use of your likeness in such materials indefinitely. If you have questions about this release, please email: info@socialwest.ca.

LIABILITY LIMITATION: SocialWest and SocialNext will not accept liability for any damages sustained by attendees or accompanying persons, nor for loss or damage to personal property as a result of attending the SocialWest conference or related events.

CANCELLATION DUE TO FACTORS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL: If an event cancellation occurs due to factors beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, public health orders, venue safety/security concerns), SocialWest will be rescheduled. Refunds will not be provided, but your ticket will remain valid for the new date.

COVID-19 AND OTHER COMMUNICABLE ILLNESSES: By attending SocialWest, you voluntarily assume all risks related to COVID-19 and other communicable illnesses. You agree not to hold SocialWest, SocialNext, or their partners and venues liable for any illness or injury related to COVID-19 or other communicable diseases. SocialWest's policies may change based on public health guidance. All attendees must adhere to guidelines set by SocialWest organizers and local authorities. Non-compliance may result in expulsion from the conference without refund.
