Our response to COVID-19 See you in September!
We hope you're doing well and staying healthy.
Amid the global outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus, we have been monitoring the situation and paying close attention to the advice of regional and national health authorities, as well as the World Health Organization.
Our priority is, of course, to keep our attendees, speakers; and team safe and healthy. The Alberta Government has now reiterated several times that all events over 250 people must be postponed or cancelled. So we are moving SocialWest 2020 to this September.
While we would like to think the ban on larger events would be lifted by June, there’s just no way to know that for sure, and that makes planning an event like ours incredibly difficult.
We are committed to bringing you top-notch digital marketing and social media instruction in 2020. Here's how we're going to do it:
- We are re-scheduling SocialWest to September 9 - 11, 2020. This will be the same excellent, in-person conference that you would have experienced in June. If you bought a ticket for the June conference dates, your ticket will automatically be transferred to the September dates.
- We are producing free virtual events for you in April and in June. We're really excited about this, and we'll share more details as we have them.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. As a small business, we are working hard to navigate this ever-evolving situation. We so appreciate your ongoing patience and support through these uncertain times We hope that with a little creativity, teamwork, and hand-washing, we'll all come out of this healthy on the other side.
